Pupils with Allergies
We take allergies seriously and we would not want any child to miss out on a school lunch because of concerns about cross-contamination. We have a no nut policy.
If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or any other special dietary requirement please do not hesitate to get in touch with us so we can discuss how we can personalise our menu for your child.
You will also need to complete our Allergies and Intolerances Referral Form which can be scanned and emailed to us or returned to your School Office.
All completed forms must be accompanied by a medical referral.
-all staff complete compulsory Allergen Awareness Training prior to their first day at work
- all staff are trained to recognise the children who have allergens
- allergen free ingredients are separated and kept in contained boxes to avoid cross contamination
- we have displayed a poster in our dining rooms so children can ask us about the ingredients in their lunch
- kitchen staff have been issued with a allergen quick reference guide of all our recipes and ingredients.
